I have a 12 wk. old Lab pup. I just noticed a grape size lump on his spine. It does not move. It seems like it popped up suddenly, because I have scratched and petted him on his back and never noticed it. Any ideas? I am really concerned. I will probably take him to the vet, but short on funds

Please take him to your vet ASAP as the lump could be cancerous and any delay could mean more expensive treatment and possibly early death. On the other hand, the lump could be noncancerous but you will not know until your vet can evaluate your pup.
