No matter how hard you try to stay away from them, pesky mosquitos will somehow make their way to your skin. If one manages to bite you, you can banish the itchy feeling quickly by placing a piece of tape right on the bite.
I've heard that the reason why we find these bites so itchy is because your blood is trying to reach the surface to fill the newfound puncture, but cannot do so due to the anti-clotting properties from the mosquito bite proteins. That causes your nerve endings in that area to flare up, causing the itchiness. If you cover the bites with tape, you're not only tricking your body into not feeling itchy, you're also not needing to scratch it anymore, making the heal-time for this bite to speed up exponentially.

Yes! Any tape will do. I use sellotape. Have used masking tape, as well. Please let me know if it works for you. It's been so great so far. :)
I have used Scotch Tape and it works.
I saw a church sign that said, "Even mosquitoes believe in the power of the blood." That's so true. I'll be glad when they are gone.
Me too. I have used the smoke stuff, the spray stuff, homemade stuff. All effective but some always slip by. I cannot wait til they're gone.
Soffro della sindrome di skeeter sono anni che sono allergica alle zanzare e l'ho scoperto da poco c'è soltanto un modo l'orologio antizanzare non mi pungono più altro che deodoranti o cipolle.
Translation: I suffer from skeeter syndrome. I have been allergic to mosquitoes for years and I recently found out there is only one way the mosquito repellent watch no longer bites me anything but air fresheners or onions.
