Qualifying for Social Security Survivors Benefits?

I'm currently receiving Social Security benefits until I graduate or turn age 19. Would my son be able to receive them? He was born a month ago?

Are you talking disability benefits or survivor's benefits? Either way unless your son is disabled or one of his parents is deceased I don't think he would qualify for these benefits. Call your local Social Security Office and talk to them. They can give you the right information.

You need to go in person to your local social security office and carry all necessary paper work.
