How and when did you get your pet?
He was found at a Christian church in the bushes as a kitten and dying. The mommy had been run over on Thanksgiving day. He was starving, blind from infection, completely limp, and practically frozen. He could hardly breathe. He was nursed back to health with a lot of TLC and now you would never think anything bad had ever happened. A true miracle!
What does your pet like to do for fun?
He is an extremely intelligent cat and not afraid of anything, yet, very gentle and loving. He likes to climb to high places and take in the views. He takes a walk with me and his two dog brothers at sunset.

Do you have anything else to share about your pet?
The reasons for the two names is because we thought he was a she (Queenie) because of the white fluffy chest. Then at the vet clinic the Doc said we could take "him" home. Haha now he is Raccoonie, but we still say she sometimes by habit. :)

He's such a beautiful cat! He reminds me of a couple of summers when I was a kid, when our gray tabby, Shadow, used to walk around the block with my parents and me after dinner. He would investigate other people's yards along the way, but never let us out of his sight!

Thank you for your comment and the story about Shadow...great name. :) Cats have an amazing way of mimicking behaviour dont they ? ;) What's funny is in front of
our house it's as busy as a freeway. We are sooo fortunate that in the back there is still that untouched land.
