Bronze Post Medal for All Time! 239 Posts If you are decorating your home, you will very likely have some wallpaper samples or some leftover wallpaper. This can be used to make a quick and easy wall hanging.
Total Time: About 30 minutes
Supplies:
- 1 piece of stiff card or artist's canvas
- glue
- 1 pair of scissors
- 1 large scrap piece of wallpaper
- optional length of ribbon or cord for hanging
Steps:
- Unpack your artist's canvas (or trim your card to the size you want).
- Lay the wallpaper face down and lay your card/canvas in on top.
- Trim the wallpaper, with about 1 to 2 inches all round. If you are using a canvas stretched on a wood frame, you may need to leave a little more.
- Add glue along one edge.
- Check that the design is positioned correctly.
- Fold over and crease the paper on the glued edge.
- Add more glue as necessary. Hold in place until it has stuck firmly.
- Repeat on the opposite edge.
- Fold one side edge without glue.
- Unfold and trim off the corners. Note that if you are using a wood framed canvas, you will need to wrap the paper as if you are wrapping a boxed gift.
- Glue and hold in place until it has stuck firmly. Repeat on the opposite edge
- Glue the ribbon or cord in place for hanging.
- If you are not using a ribbon or cord you can use sticky removable tack. Or for a wood frame it can be hung directly on a nail.

I have a lot of wallpaper left over from building our house, so I've used it to line shelves in the pantry and for bathroom drawers.
