I used a Quick Shine floor varnish on my floor and want to reapply. Do I need to remove the old before reapplying?

I have never used Quick Shine Floor products but from checking their website, they do not sell a 'varnish', so please recheck the name on the container you are using.
Varnish is an entirely different type of finish, so the following information will NOT apply if you are actually using 'varnish'.
When in doubt about how to use a product, it is best to seek answers from the company that makes the product.
