Re-dyeing Hair?

Re-dyeing HairI've recently bleached and toned and dyed my way too silver (January 1st). Now that I've obtained the color, I'm wondering how long I should wait before going to a salon and having them dye it a normal color again. Will I have to lift my hair again to get back to my natural color or can they dye over the gray? I don't want to make an appointment too early, but the gray/silver just doesn't suit me like I had hoped. Thank you so much for your help in advance! The picture above is my hair color currently!

I don't know what you used to dye your hair but I just saw a post about Feria boxed hair color and how it is very damaging to your hair when you try to remove it. I would definitely consult with a hairdresser that is experienced in touch-up or recoloring. Good luck. The gray was a neat look, I hope you enjoyed it.

I dyed my hair blonde at the tips for the first time from a dye box (my hair is dark brown), but there was no change at all. Can I redye to get the color I want in the same week, or should I wait four weeks as the website says?

There is something at Sally's beauty supply store called ion color brilliance hair color remover. It comes in a little packet and you mix it with 4 oz of water. I needed 2 packets but my hair was super long and it only costs like $3 per pack. When I dyed my hair with a silver like this, I looked all over for something to remove it.

The career at Sally's recommended it and omg I did not expect it to work, but it literally removed every last bit of the due in 10 minutes without all the harsh chemicals of a regular hair stripper. I highly recommend it if you ever need to remove color again.

You might want to consult a salon in your area. I know that my daughter loves to dye her hair. But she has many issues with her hair splitting and drying out.

I don't know how long you should wait but I think you should ask an expert on this one. You don't want to burn or dry out your hair.

I don't know why you would want to remove the silver --- it looks gorgeous!

I would wait at least 3 to 6 weeks. Don't shampoo hair the same day you want to dye hair won't take dye. I don't see why you couldn't cover silver with a darker color. U basically bleached it. I did my hair starting with Feria platinum and then wella lightest ash blonde I want mine white tho.

Feria will not hurt your hair unless you use it wrong. I also use argon oil shampoo and conditioner. After I rinse conditioner out I towel dry rub a small amount of conditioner in hair and blow dry. I did my hair in 2 weeks 1 feria platinum, 1 platinum w/violet blue and #30 activator and 1 wella lightest ash blonde with #20 activator. My hair is still really healthy and softer then before thanks to argon. I don't recommend this I just couldn't stand the color after 2nd coloring. But that's just me.

I high by recommend the ion color brilliance hair color removal. It comes in a little packet at Sally's. I dyed my hair this color and didn't like it either. The lady at the counter recommended it and I was like, ok it is only like $3 a packet, I'll try anything at the moment, and let me tell you it was a life saver.

I had to use 2 packets because my hair is super long but it took every last bit of the due out of it.

Féria hair color is not good for your hair! I decided to do something very different and use the crimson passion or whatever (maroon) .. I have always been brunette. 6 months later, its still in my hair! I went to the salon and got my roots touched up (they were getting gray) and then when that grew out, I used the oops.

All it done was take the color from my roots. The rest of the crimson color is still there and doesnt seem to be going anywhere!
