I dyed my hair copper colour global and highlights both, but now I don't like my highlights and want to re-dye it to my original hair colour. It has been 2 days now. What should I do to remove only highlights?

You might need help to paint regular dye over the highlights. Wait a couple of weeks to do it. Deep-condition the night before.
You'd want to paint over the highlights with the base colour you used.
