I bought 2 boxes of hair dye from the brand Loreal which turn out to be a mistake. The color was a cold light brown (I have natural kinda dark brown), but it came out red! I bought two boxes because my mom suggested that I would run out of dye because I have a lot of hair and it's thick, but short. After that I had to be comfortable with it, but my family had laughed at my mistake and were calling me ginger (isn't a bad thing). So I decided to just dye it a type of dark brown, but I don't know when is the best time. The dye hair made my hair worse and the top back of my hair is in pain and is forming scabs.

You should wait at least 2 weeks between chemical treatments. s for now, do not use any heat tools on your hair. Deep-condition your hair weekly. If your scalp gets infected, see a doctor.
I would not do anything until the wounds heal. If you feel you have an infection it is best to see your PCP or seek medical care.
You need to be very careful what you do if you have open wounds to prevent infection. I would not use any products on your hair until you heal (they are most likely going to hurt if you do) and only wash your hair with cool to warm water and the gentlest shampoo possible--like a baby shampoo.
I am not clear on why you needed two boxes. If you followed their directions exactly and had a reaction to the product, I would recommend telling the company about the reaction and asking for a refund--but that is me. If you did not follow the directions, then no.
