Does anyone have a recipe for non-yeast crescent rolls? (like the kind from a can.) I used to have it and I know that you cut the butter and lard in with a pastry blender. But I cannot seem to find it anywhere. I have tried looking online but the only ones I can find are for the yeast-rolls. I would greatly appreciate it if anyone could share this recipe with me.
2 cups Bisquick baking mix and 1/2C cold water
Heat oven to 425 degrees. Mix until soft dough form- beat vigorously 30 sec. Turn onto surface well floured with baking mix. Gently roll in baking mix to coat - shape into a ball. Knead 10 times. Pat into a 12 inch circle - cut into 12 pie shape slices. Roll up beginning with rounded edges. Brush tops with melted butter. Coat with sesame seeds if desired.
Bake 425 degrees F for 10 - 12 minutes. Makes 12 rolls.
