This is a super economical, great tasting dish with an Oriental flair.
Ingredients:
1 lb. wide noodles (cooked)
2 lb. hamburger
2 cans tomato soup
2 large onions
1 can chow mien noodles
1 green pepper, finely chopped
1 (4 oz.) can mushrooms, drained
Directions:
Fry meat and onion together until brown.
Add soup and cook slowly for one hour, until mixture is thick.
Put buttered noodles on a large platter. Pour over this, the meat mixture.
Place a border of raw green pepper around meat.
Place mushrooms on top of meat.
Make a border of chow mien noodles around the edge of all.

I love this because it's very simple and inexpensive to make. You can use leftover chicken making it even cheaper. Very good and hearty.

Brown meat in skillet. Combine meat, rice, onions and celery in 9x13 inch baking dish. Add soy sauce and enough water to cover mixture. Bake 1 1/12-2 hours in a 300 degree F oven.

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Saute meat and onion in oil, mix all ingredients, except noodles. Pour into 9x13 inch baking dish.
Bake 30 minutes with cover in medium oven, remove cover and bake 30 minutes more.
