I was wondering if there are recipes which use the flavored powdered coffee creamers? I had a coupon for a free bottle but I don't drink coffee. I thought since there are so many different flavors maybe someone has creative ideas for including them in something other than coffee.
Whenever a recipe calls for cocoa I will often use powdered coffee creamer. Gives a little "lift" to the flavor.
I didn't write that very well. I mean I substitute coffee creamer for the cocoa.
Do you mean the liquid coffee creamer or the powder?
I don't drink coffee either, but I love to put that creamer in my hot chocolate. It's delicious!
If you like mixed alcoholic drinks, you could make the creamer into a liquid version and add vodka or whatever to it. I have reconstituted the hazelnut creamer and added kahlua to it and found it quite tasty.
You can put it in hot cocoa to give it a little different flavor! Do a search on allrecipes.com or recipezaar.com with coffee creamer in the ingredient line and see what comes up.
you can mix it up and have in the refrigerator..it is great on hot oatmeal and used in hot cocoa.
If you decide to get regular powder coffee creamer use it in creamed soups. When on vacation we are many miles from grocery store. I make a potato and onion soup and use powder coffee creamer instead of milk.
I use the flavored creamer when I make Hot Chocolate mix out of dry milk, cocoa and such I just made a Christmas one with peppermint creamer. Oh so Good.
I like to substitute the dry creamer for powdered sugar in glaze and frosting recipes. Divine!
I've just made porridge with coffee creamer because I didn't have any milk, I stirred in some honey , it was delicious.

How can I use powdered coffee creamer to make whipping cream?
By martina from 19104
As far as I know you can't make it from powdered creamer.
Just put the title of your request into Google and the first item that comes up will take you to the directions, with pictures for making Whipped Topping from Powdered Creamer. It is really easy to do.
Jsham, glad you had the idea to look for 'topping' and that's a great recipe if you're in a pinch to use as a dessert topping! I am going to try it with my powdered Hazelnut non-dairy creamer! Keep in mind it's not whipping cream though, unless it has at least 30% milk fat, and could ruin certain recipes. Martina, here's the link jsham is talking about for use as a topping :-)
How to Make Whipped Topping from Non-Dairy Creamer
Instructions
Things You'll Need:
1 cup of Non-Dairy Creamer, I use the cheapest I can find!
1/4 cup of cold water
1 tablespoon lemon juice
3 tablespoons of powder or confectioners' sugar
Before starting, put the small mixing bowl and the beaters in the refrigerator to chill. You want them good and cold to make this topping.
In the small chilled bowl, combine one cup of non-dairy creamer, 1/4 cup of water and one tablespoon of lemon juice.
Using the chilled beaters, beat on high speed about one minute or until soft peaks form.
Gradually beat in three tablespoons of powdered or confectionery sugar; continue beating about 2 minutes or until stiff peaks form.
Chill. The mixture stiffens after chilling. Stir to fluff it up before serving. Serve on cake, pie, fruit salad or pudding. Refrigerate any left-overs. Makes about one and half cups.
I believe it helps to make air bubbles smaller and to smooth out the sugar
for sure you can... I do it at work all the time
It worked!! I wanted whipped cream for my lime jello. Using these measurements I found the cream too thick, like marshmallow fluff. I added a bit more cold water and chilled. Nice! I used the confectioners sugar I had on hand that I made (regular granulated sugar ground in my coffee grinder!)
Are there any recipes, like cookies or something else that can be made with Coffee-mate Irish cream, creamer?
By deb from MT
I use them in place of milk or powdered milk in recipes. I use 1/3 cup powder coffee mate and 3/4 cup water or just substitute the liquid for the milk called for.
There are quite a few on the CoffeeMate site: www.coffee-mate.com/
I also use them in place of milk. When making french toast instead of using milk. I usually use the cinnamon bun. God speed
As long as there are no corn allergies make up some in a glass. I nuke water and add creamer to the right colour. Stir with fork to mix well.
It works great for gravy, chowders, biscuits, pancakes, etc.I use in my Bisquick bulk mix, my bulk pancake mix, etc
I have used in baked goods, too. Just substitute for milk. Ria
Coffee Mate is great to use when you run out of milk and want porridge, makes it really creamy
