My Yorkie is 15 weeks and has had parvo for 5 days, but she is in the hospital on an IV. She still has vomiting and diarrhea a little, and won't really eat. The vet said she has been standing up a little and looking around. Will she recover? Is she on the road of recovery? How long does it usually take a puppy to recover? Thanks a lot.

Sorry to hear your little Yorkie is sick but your comments seem to indicate she may be on the mend.
Here is some info from a vet:
Puppies that are treated swiftly and survive the first 3-4 days of the infection are likely to make a full recovery in around a week. Once vomiting has subsided for 12-24 hours, easy-to-digest foods that are low in fat may be given at the recommendation of the veterinarian, such as cottage cheese, boiled chicken, and rice. The companionship and attention of the owner will help ameliorate stress.

Like people, they recover at different speeds, ,but usually in a week or two, but she may still be tired for awhile and want some extra rest.
According to Petfinder.com, it can take sexeral weeks
I took care of a puppy with parvo at home. She recovered slowly, it takes time for her digestive system to heal and for her to feel better. She will start to eat little bits of gentle food slowly and you will notice that everyday she will have a little more energy. It took about 2 weeks for my puppy to heal and start running around and being herself.
After the critical period, a full recovery is expected 4 to 6 weeks after the illness. Some suggest that you should give him a full 6 months before he's completely in the clear, and that he should not fraternize with other dogs during that time.
