My dog started not eating and drinking anything about 3 days ago. I took him to the vet and the put an IV in him and gave him some antibiotics because he tested positive for parvo. We kept him in the vet and they said he was doing really good and he didn't vomit at all the time he was in the vet.
I picked him up today and they said he was good to go and that he's been eating. We got back home and he vomited a little bit, but he hasn't vomited since. However, he still will not drink or eat he just wants to sleep. Is he just recovering? Or is he just tired and was the vomit from the car ride home? I'm confused and just want to know because I love him very much and I'm just concerned.

If my dog were taking a turn for the worse I would call the vet
Keep in touch with your vet if he isn't eating or drinking (especially drinking) or if he continues to vomit or have diarrhea. It is important to follow the home care instructions to the letter.
Dogs that have good veterinary care have a good chance of surviving parvo. If your dog does not drink for 24 hours I would be calling the Vet right away. Dehydration is a big problem for parvo dogs. Parvo is a slow recovery. Expect a week of your pup not feeling like himself. Some dogs take longer. Call the Vet right away if there are changes that concern you.
