My puppy is nearly 7 months old. It's his second day with parvo. The vet gave me Pro-lyte, metronidazole 200mg, and Gastropect, and I take him to the vet daily to get his injections. He doesn't vomit or have diarrhoea. Will he recover completely or should I be worried because he is sleeping the whole time? He drank some water this morning on his own.

If you are making regular vet visits for the dog then you have nothing to worry about. I have had 2 dogs with parvo in the past. My first dog recovered at home in about a week. The second dog had to be kept at the vet for 10 days but made a full recovery. This takes time and it is a slow process. It can take 14 to 30 days in some cases for the dog to fully recover.
The fact that your dog is drinking on her own tells me she is beginning to recover or has a lighter case than most dogs get. It can take awhile to recover from parvo.
Your dog is on the road to recovery. Keep in touch with the vet and be on the lookout for symptoms returning.
Everything here sounds positive! Following the vet's instructions gives the pup the best chances for a full recovery!! Keep the vet in the loop! Prayers for a full recovery! Post back with an update!
