Here is a bug toy I made for my daughter. The kiddos are surprisingly holding up well with the quarantine. It's nice to make some toys with household items and they do enjoy playing with them too.
Total Time: 20 minutes
Supplies:
- paper towel roll
- googly eyes
- scissors
- yarn
- tape
- construction paper
- marker/pen
- pipe cleaners
- hot glue
Steps:
- Cut paper towel roll (or cut from toilet paper roll). Wrap yarn around entire roll.
- Trace a circular object on construction paper and cut in half.
- Cut and fold a pipe cleaner into legs.
- Hot glue on the legs, wings, and googly eyes.
