For the last 3 years I have been collecting water bottle caps, from work at a car dealership, thinking it was for St Jude's, for cancer research. Now I have 1000s and 1000s of them at home in black plastic bags. I don't know what to do with them. Does anyone have an idea where to discard them?
Thank you.

There no charities right now collecting plastic caps, your local recycling center will take them off your hands. Check with your local schools to see if they can be used for art or crafting ideas!
Art teachers love them. Donate to a school or camp.
You can see if this organization can use them to make their benches. I have not worked with them, so I am not sure if they work only with schools or individuals.
If you have an artist community in your town you can see if they want them for art projects.
Last suggestion is if your community still recycles plastic and they are the right numbers, you could recycle. My community just switched from taking 1-5s to 1-2 only. Check for the numbers your town takes.
Post back what you decide.
