My husband washed an expensive white towel with a deep red border around it in hot water. My towel is now pink. He showed it to me and I did not dry it. I have tried soaking it in Tide and laundry soap with Oxi and it's still the same. I have no clue what to do?

It might be too late to save your towel. An option is that you can bleach the towel white. Sorry...
In the 70s when I used to sew, I was advised to wash colored cotton and blend fabrics in cold water with vinegar, then dry on hot before cutting out a pattern.
Nowadays, after purchase, if an item has the potential to bleed, I wash in cold with vinegar and dry (not necessarily hi heat) to set the dye. Since color catchers were introduced, I now use those after the initial wash and dry with items that might bleed.
I wish you the best of luck.
Use RIT dye/color removal for this, or buy pure oxyclean to remove the bleeding color!
I'd try the Rit too, but it sounds like it might be permanent. Good luck ! ! !
