We are having a red cranky growth on our peach tree. Can anyone identify it and if it's a disease tell me how to treat it? Thanks.

This is called peach leaf curl. It is a disease. You will need to treat the tree with a fungicide. This article explains everything very well:ipm.ucanr.edu/

i do not have peach trees but this seems to be a serious problem so it would be best if you try to doctor your trees right away.
