You can do this. I have done this before and it works ok, but you do lose flavor and texture as someone else said. I found that the meat gets a lot softer with a second freezing after its cooked and loses some flavor also.
It will lose some of the flavor and texture if you refreeze.

But this beef has been roasted and frozen before being defrosted and cooked again. I thought this wasn't a good idea?
I do this when I'm making meals from frozen meat. I'll refreeze portions of food for quick lunches later. It's not going to retain the best quality but as long as it was defrosted and refrozen safely, there should be no cause for concern.
