I am in college now, but still I can't cure my underarm problem. It's not the sweat, it's the smell. I've tried everything, but none of it worked. Some students was making fun of me and that's not really good. It's bringing down my confidence and I don't know what to do. I'm so hopeless for now, I feel so down. I don't wanna be the same girl anymore. I wanna express myself, but I can't because this thing keeps holding me back. I'm so tired of being teased. What should I do?

Hey so I struggled with the same issue all my life and am now in college. I actually have hyper hydrosis (not sure if I spelled that right) which is an over sweating of the palms but I swear I have the sweatiest pits and feet out there. I use apple cider vinegar on my arm pits after my morning shower, once a week. It kills the bacteria. When it comes to the confidence thing you just have to get a bit sassy! Your nerves about the smell will only make you sweat more. If someone is commenting about the smell I give you permission to say you have a disease called hyper hydrosis, and trust me once you say it's a disease or a disorder then they are the ones that look bad for making fun of you. Embrace the sweat and be confident, if someone has a problem with it then it's their problem not yours.
Hi, I have had success with the green clay from Queen Helene that I bought at Dollar General... 2.99
If your arms smell like pennies, and don't laugh because we have a lot of metals in us...you are lacking in copper. Go see a doctor or look up the problem on webmd.com Sometimes what you eat or don't eat make a big difference. I hope that helps.
This is what came up. You can also google it and find some really good remedies.

I had that problem also until a friend told me to get "Mitchum's Deodorant" . I tried it, and I haven't had any problems since. It is a man's deodorant, but it doesn't have any smell to it. You can get it at any store. I paid $ 1.00 for it on sale. It is unscented. Hope this helps.

You need to see your MD. There is Rx they can give you. There is a pill you can take that is an internal deodorant that will kill all body odors. You can try applying vinegar and allowing it to air dry. Have you tried the clinical strength deodorant at walmart, it is expensive but it may work.
First, after you have washed under your arms. Wipe them down with rubbing alcohol. Let it set a little bit. Then wash again with baking soda in the water. Then use a good anti-persperant such as degree or arrid XXX. After it is applied and dry, then use baby powder made with corn starch. Or you can just use plain cornstarch. I hope this helps. If the odor continues, you might want to check with your Doctor. There might be an underlying medical condition.
Go to a health food store and get a deodorant stone. They are like $5. Does nothing for the sweating, but there will be no more smell.
My advice is to start with the simplest remedies from below (I'd start with the Mitchem unscented deodorant) and then try them all. Also, you can't neglect showering daily; one assumes you are doing so. I find that wearing cotton or poly cotton clothes is also much less stinky than wearing polyester clothes. If simple washing, deodorants, deodorant stones, etc. don't cure the problem, it is time to go to the doctor.
Buy Mitchum deodorant and go to your doctor about this problem as they can give you something to take that will help you I believe. My sweat glands [like yours] where also going over board and my doctor told me about Mitchum deoderant.
Maybe too much info but here it goes. In my personal experience deodorant just made things worst! I smelled like funk and flowers! :( I have given up the deodorant for good and only use baby powder to keep me dry a little longer. What I do now is I carry spare t-shirts in my purse at all times. I usually wash my underarms 2-3 times a day and change my shirt about 2-3 day & shower every night. I personally would love to go see a MD but I have no insurance or money so this is my remedy, I hope it helped in some way. Just know you aren't the only one struggling with this! I hope you find a solution! Best of luck!
Don't wear the same shirt u wore after showering no matter how u think its still clean. Change shirts after every bath. Boil all your tops in hot boiling water for 15 mins.
Listerine or a different kill bacteria mouthwash help me. Also helps if i put blow dryer on cool and make sure i am completely dry before I apply deodorant.
Milk of Magnesia is great, apple cider vinegar and baking soda. Always use a deodorant soap first. Then put on deodorant that does not have a fragrance to it after one of the above. I always alternate.
Personally milk of mag works the best.
