My two old Shih Tzu has a very dry coat. What is the best remedy that I can use on his coat? I already have been using 100% flax-seed oil which was recommended. I have been using it for nearly 6 months now. I appreciate your help.

Have you tried fish oil capsules? I don't mean putting it on the dogs coat, I mean snipping the tip with a scissor and squeezing the fish oil into you dogs food and stirring. My shepherd had a terrible dry coat. He would scratch and bite all the time. A couple of fish oil capsules in his food made quite a difference. If you can afford it, the best thing I have ever found is Dinovite. You can only buy it on line. It is expensive but your dog is small so you wouldn't need much. It actually cured my dogs seborreah. I had spent thousands of $$ at the vet but this powder actually worked. If you can't afford it, please give the fish oil capsules a try. They are always on sale BOGO at CVS.
