Remedy for a Frizzy Perm?

I had a perm on Friday and the day after it was frizzy and felt like straw. I had to wet it and same the day after that. What should I do to make it soft and curly? Thanks.

I would speak to the head of the school. There is something called a reverse perm. Hopefully that will help your hair recover. You should also trim ends regularly, deep-condition often, and not brush your hair when wet.

If you don't want to confront the hair stylist and DIY it, there are special products that you can buy that will give your curls more shape, and help with the frizz. www.aveda.com/.../be-curly-curl-enhancer is one product that has worked well for me in the past.

It sounds like whatever she used on your hair really dried it out and maybe you should treat your hair with hot oil or any other thing that replenishes it (I use egg yolks myself sometimes) before considering doing a perm again?

Condition it well or use a hot oil treatment.

Conditioner, conditioner, conditioner. Egg yolks are good, but also look at leave-in conditioners. Don't blow-dry your hair if you can avoid it, and try to not use products such as gel or hair spray.
