I was cynical - how could something so simple work so quickly? Yet it does, my only quibble would be with the time, I suggest almost 15 minutes but aside from that there is literally no mark/shadow/hint of a stain and no odour. A brilliant idea.
In the future I will remember this in the event a cat urinates where one shouldn't. Between whiles, I have always used baking soda & hydrogen peroxide together as toothpaste.
I have to say I was really amazed at how well this worked. I put it on in middle of night, (I cut the recipe in half) and I kinda had to sprinkle it on as it wasn't spaying to well, and by morning the wet spot and odor was gone and no stain, just vacuumed up the baking soda and good as new.
I didn't for a minute think it was going to work, but went off to the pharmacy and bought some peroxide. Oh.My.God. I take it all back. The peroxide and baking soda really does work and my mattress is saved :)
Really works. Have used it several times to clean a stained mattress pad that nothing else worked on.
