Removing Burned on Spaghetti Sauce?

I have burned chunky spaghetti sauce on the bottom of my pot. I tried the liquid dish soap with water and boiling method, but it's still stuck like glue to the bottom of the pot. What now?

Put baking soda on the bottom. Cover with water and leave overnight. Use Barkeepers Friend to clean in the morning.

If it is stainless, scrub it with steel wool pad. If not boil in water with a fabric softener sheet.

My go to is a layer of salt, a layer of baking soda and cover it all with vinegar (enough to cover the bottom of the pot). Let it fizz up and then sit overnight. Then fill with hot water and let it sit for an hour.

Most of it should lift right off. If not, repeat, but this time only let it soak an hour and use a scrubbie to remove the residue. It works every time!

My way is exactly like Pghgirl40 and it has always worked for me.
If something happens that you do not have all three ingredients; salt, baking soda, vinegar (white or cider), you can use some dish soap as the item you are missing and sometimes that will work also.

Soft Scrub or Barkeepers Friend will sometimes take out any small amount that might be hanging on but try to use a scrubby that will not hurt your pot or your hands.

Try cream of tarter this should do the trick. Add the water to the pan and boil the water with 3 teaspoons of cream of tartar in the water. This will remove the burned on sauce out of the pan.

This was my grandma's trick when she burned something on the stove and it worked good.

the boiling water method has never failed me, sometimes i will with a spatula scrape stuff off whilst it is boiling. The salt is good, too
