How do I remove candle wax and dye stains from a North Face girl's jacket?

If it is a lot, freeze it then pick the wax off as much as possible. Next, with a warm iron, and paper towels, blot it off...jacket, then towels, then iron. Keep using clean paper towels as it blots it up. Then was using some oxyclean. Don't run thru the dryer until it is all off. May take several tries.
Use an ice cube and the edge of an old credit card to scrape it off.
I would just crumble it all off as much as I could by scrunching up the fabric. This will get rid of the big pieces. Then you can do a fabric sample with acetone or other solvent for the rest. Additionally, finding a way to melt off the remaining wax, by the ironing method described above, or by putting the stained place up to a bare lightbulb with a piece of paper between the lightbulb and the jacket should do the trick.
I'm not sure you can really get rid of the oily looking big but possibly try some cleanser specifically designed to get oil off fabric. shop.advanceautoparts.com/
