I was studying for exams one day and I was studying on a dry erase board with the marker. I accidentally got the marker on my hundred percent cotton quilt how do I get it out?

You can try hairspray. Try in a hidden spot first.
Hi,
I would use rubbing alcohol. Put the stain-face down- on paper towels. Dab alcohol from the back onto the cotton quilt.
As the paper towels pick up the stain, remove them and replace with clean paper towels.
Whatever you try, do it on a small spot first to make sure it doesn't ruin the colors. Also when working, make sure that you keep a rag or junk towel under the spot you are cleaning. I have made the mistake of using hair spray to remove the stains and had the piece laying on top of itself and transferred the stain to another spot.
Some people swear by Murphy Oil soap if it is on a white section, but beware, it can pull the fabric color along with the marker. Any of the solutions can do this, so use them sparingly and work it out slowly so you don't make it worse.
Post back how it goes for you!
I was able to get black dry erase marker (mostly) out of a white blouse after it had been washed and dried using Murphys Oil Soap and an old toothbrush. I tried rubbing alcohol, vinegar, a baking soda/vinegar paste and hairspray. None of them budged it, but the Murphys Oil Soap faded it until it was barely noticeable.
