Removing Dye That Transferred in the Wash

My son is pretty upset with me. Somehow when I washed his very nice yellow shirt something blue apparently bled onto it. Don't have any idea what happened. Nothing else in the load was affected. Somehow I didn't catch it and it got put in the dryer. Is there anything I can do to get the blue stains out or do I owe him a new shirt?

Carbona and Rit both make Color Run Removers. Carbona and Shout also make dye grabbers and color catchers. Best luck. (05/06/2008)
