Removing Dye Transfer from Dried Clothing?

Removing Dye Transfer from Dried ClothingI laundered polyester/spandex/cotton blend light colored clothing with a pink, purple, and blue 100% polyester top. I didn't notice the transfer until after clothes were dried. Everything, including the top has large spots or streaks of dark dye transfer in various areas of each article of clothing. How do I get the due transfer out of the clothes?

Try some regular blue Dawn massaged into the stains, and then soak for an hour in a bucket with two cups of vinegar and 1/2 cup baking soda and enough cold water to cover garment. It will fizz up. Don't use the dryer until you have all the stains out. It sometimes takes a few treatments!

Color Grabber and Color Catcher are for placing in your launder to KEEP the colors from running/transferring and will not remove color after it runs/transfers.

Color remover is just that - color remover and is used when you wish to remove colors completely - usually preparing to dye an article.

What you need is Color Run Remover and it is sold at a lot of big stores (but not all stores). I have found it at some Walmart's and Target's but other stores do sell it also (look in the laundry aisles).

Here is is online:
