Does anyone have a safe and effective treatment for hair removal for chin and upper lip hair? I use a Finish Touch razor, but it is temporary and the chin hair is stubborn to get rid of. Thank you.

I use the finishing touch razor too, and I agree it is temporary, however, it does work. I guess it is no more temporary than men shaving or women shaving their legs and under arms. The best solution that I have come up with is going to a beauty shop and being waxed. When I do this I also have my eyebrows waxed too. I also go to one or the other beauty schools that are in the town where I live. They are cheaper than other beauty shops. I really like the waxing , however, because of health and mobility problems it is harder for me to go on a regular (monthly) basis.
When I lived in another town, a waitress in one of the cafes had her eyebrows permanently plucked (lol). I can't remember if it was done by laser or with electrolysis, but anyway she had temporary black eyes from the procedure. Plus it was expensive. My biggest problem is my eyebrows, I can't get the finishing touch razor to work on them the way it shows on TV.
I am the facial hair queen, so I look forward to reading suggestions here. I tweeze, but after years of tweezing, the skin gets pulled and rough. I tried home waxing but I'm not very good at this method.
I had tried all sorts of removers with little to no success. I just use a men's razor on my chin, but don't like using it on my upper lip. I wax it along with my brows. olay skincare just came out with a facial depilatory cream, a two piece kit.

I haven't used it on my chin yet, but it is the first depilatory that actually removed the hair on my upper lip, so I am excited to try it on my chin next!
It's such a nuisance, huh! I use a razor on my chin, do a lot of plucking, and now and then use Sally Hansen depilatory on my upper lip.
When there are just a few hairs on my upper lip I use an emery board. Nothing is going to be permanent except maybe electrolysis, so the emery board is a good backup between shaves or depilatories. I don't have a lot of hairs so sometimes I pluck, and sometimes I use the emery board. I found a little hair removal kit at the dollar store which has pieces of what looks like very fine grade sandpaper.
I used it, and it worked, though it can leave your skin red for about 24 hours - much like waxing does. Then I started substituting the emery board (not the metal ones) and was happy with the results. It works for small patches of leg hair too. Won't hurt to try it. Good luck!
Sally Hansen brush on hair remover for face 3 to 5 minutes tops, be careful it might burn if on too long.
I use olive oil for shaving facial hair it helps you have a closer shave and leaves your skin feeling baby soft, just apply to your face wait for a minute then shave as usual, you will get a close comfortable shave with no sting or irritation, do not rinse off leave on and allow your skin to absorb the remaining oil, if it is too greasy for you just blot off with a tissue do not rub your skin as this will cause irritation, make sure your razor is sharp as a dull razor will always leave stubble.
