I have gloss paint on my new jeans. How can I remove it? Thank you for your help.

I have a friend who does lots of craft painting and swears by vodka as a paint remover. I have not tried it. (01/02/2009)

I'd use regular fingernail polish remover (not the kind made for artificial nails) if the Vodka doesn't work. Let it set a bit then blot with a paper towel. (01/02/2009)

Several things you can try: the strongest citrus cleaner you can find; spray it on; let it soak; scrub with a small brush; wash; don't dry in case it hasn't come out. Add a can of Coke to your wash, or you can add to the above. An art teacher friend swears by floor wax stripper for all kinds of paint.

Painters bar soap works well. Craft stores carry it. You'll find it in the area where they have oil and water paints. (01/08/2009)

Believe it or not try hand sanitizer. I used it to remove paint from some ribbon. It took all of it out.
