I bought a new purple top. I've only worn it once and after washing it found what looks to me like grease stains. Does Oxyiaction work ? Any ideas please?

I haven't tried Oxyiaction but I have used Dawn dishsoap. The stain is slightly there after 1 wash but unless you knew the stain was there you could hardly notice it. (09/18/2009)

Thanks for your info. I brought my top to the cleaners they said to dab washing up liquid on the spots, leave it for a while and wash it. Apparently it dissolves the grease. It may have to be done twice he said but it does work. So here goes I've nothing to lose except my new top! Will keep you posted how I get on. Cheers, Jill (09/19/2009)
Dawn Dish Soap or Shampoo will usually take grease out of clothing. (09/19/2009)

Depending on the material of the clothing. I have tried, with success, cornstarch. Take a teaspoon amount on the offending grease stain and rub in with backside of spoon. Brush off, repeat if necessary. This works very well on food grease. (09/19/2009)

I've had success with Lestoil. A little straight on the stain - then wash as usual. Saved a shirt I thought I was going to have to throw away. (09/19/2009)
Did you dry the top in a dryer with a fabric softening sheet? They often leave what looks like grease spots on certain fabrics. But yes, they do come out. (09/20/2009)
