Removing Hairspray Stain on Leather Jacket?

Several dark stains on gray leather jacket.I opened a can of hairspray and it must have spilled in the top, when I opened it, it went all over my leather jacket. Are there any products or household items that will get the stains out? And also is there a dye for leather? Thank you.

Apparently, you are not the only one who has this problem. This guide shows you how to clean leather with just vinegar, olive oil, essential oil, and a cloth. www.ehow.com/how_12061467_remove-hairspray-buildup...

"Dip your cloth into the cleaning solution and dab it onto the leather. Gently rub the surface to remove hair spray. Your cloth will pick up the glossy residue with the help of the acidic vinegar. Repeat this process until all of the hair spray has been removed."

Try a Magic Eraser on an inconspicuous spot. If that doesn't work take it to a shoe repair shop.
