Removing Peeling Logo from Sweatshirt?

A friend recently brought me back a sweatshirt from her vacation in New York. The first washing made the paint start peeling. Looking for the best way to get all of the peeling paint off.

I tried to iron off and do all I can to get the you fit logo off my purple jacket but nothing works can some one please help me ?

You could you acetone and a iron to remove the letter from you hoodie.
