There is a tomcat urine odor in our family room and I can not find the source of it. It didn't start until after the pest control person sprayed our house, inside and outside, for bugs. We have pest control out 2 times a year, but this is the first time it left a urine odor. The odor seems to come from a couple of different spots. One is along the wall by the windows and the other is from the sofa. I cleaned like crazy today to get rid of the odor with no luck :( Any ideas? Thanks.

If you get yourself a black light (bulb) and shine it in the room you suspect has urine, it should show up. Cat urine glows under a black light. then you can treat it with a cleaner with enzimes made for urine.
Insist that the pest control company give you a copy of the label of the pesticide product they used. You can then go to the pesticide company as ask them for a list of the ingredients, including any solvents, that is in that product. Good luck!
