Methylated Spirits for Color Run

Have the garment either dry or damp with cold water, rub in methylated spirits, undiluted. Rinse well in cold water, then wash as normal.

I had a red emblem on the top front of my blouse run into the neckline and as well as the hemline of the skirt being soaked in the same container. I knew methylated spirits worked on Biro ink, so I decided to try with the colour run. It disappeared as I rubbed.
