I have an antique buffet and store fabric, crocheted table cloths, and napkins in it. I noticed stains on the fold lines of both and realized it must be from the wood itself. The inside of the buffet is the original unstained oak. I wondered if over the course of years with high summer humidity this caused the problem. I have tried soaking the items using the gentle cycle with OxiClean, but this has proved unsuccessful. Any ideas? I don't want the family heirlooms ruined for life. Thanks.

Soak them in diluted hydrogen peroxide if they are white. Oxyclean should work on either white or colored.
