How do you remove sticker glue from nylon clothing, without damaging the item?
Thanks

In Australia we use eucalyptus oil on all gooey sticky things, mostly labels removal, try a little on a cotton bud in a place you can't see. Or try rubbing it with a little turpentine wash as soon as possible, a lot of presoakers might be worth a try.
Rubbing alcohol, fingernail polish remover with acetone (depending on the material), Goo-Off or you could try setting ice on it and treat as if it were gum. Let the goo freeze and then scrape it off with your fingernail or gently with a butter knife.
My husband says that Goof Off can melt Nylon, so careful there! :)
Thanks a lot - I'm worried to try anything too caustic, so this should be a safe start. Thank you!!
Use GOO GONE -- works like a charm
I use goo gone to get stickers off glassware but not off my jacket. What I have now is the remnants of the sticker and a grease stain. Gonna try another method Tks.
Thanks for the polish remover, it came off like a charm.
Won't it remove some of the dye /colour2
?
Used masking tape and then goo be gone and it worked perfectly. This was on nylon so hand washed immediately after the goo be gone.
Can anyone say whether it's safe to try citrasolv for this problem of sticker glue residue on a polyamide nylon (down-filled) jacket?
