I stored a large white inside pillow of a Crate and Barrel slip cover couch in my closet for a few weeks. When I went to put the pillow inside it's pillow slip cover, I noticed the pillow was very sticky in a four by two inch spot. I can't take the sheet off of the stuffing. So how am I supposed to clean the sticky stuff off of the pillow? Help, please, so I can put the couch back together.

Lightly moisten a cloth with rubbing alcohol and hold it on the residue for a couple minutes, then wipe with a clean wet cloth, then a dry one.
Try Goo-Gone
it would be good to know the nature of the sticky stuff, is it gum? Tar? soap? glue?
i would try acetone or rubbing alcohol or Goo Gone in any event
Is the white pillow from CB also? If so, Crate and Barrel has an excellent customer service team.
Maybe they could give you some insights if it was a product defect (with the cover) that caused the issue or they could suggest a cleaning product that won't be harmful to the fabric on the white pillow.
I don't see any complaints about anything similar online, but you never know if someone had a similar issue.
Is the white pillow new or newer? If it is a CB pillow and if you explain the situation, maybe they would send you a replacement...especially if they can't tell you what may have caused the issue.
I would only go that route if I was positive that the issue was caused by the case it and not that something dripped on to it thru the case.
