I searched on how to remove no sew tape residue from clothing. The easiest solution was the paper towel remedy. Just lay the paper towel over the residue and iron over it. Press down firmly and voila! No more residue. Simple is best!

This worked a treat for me. Change the paper towel often and use a single or double thickness only. My DH used duct tape to hem our daughter's school skirt! So lots of very sticky residue left on the fabric. Took about half an hour of ironing to remove it.

it will dry up and flake off, use your nails and scrape gently, or get a lint roller and go over the residue a couple of times, just be gentle on the fabric.
My daughter's brand new nylon jersey was sent to us with packing tape around it. It took some time and lots of patience, but one of those $3 lint removers (the kind with masking tape) did the trick. Carefully put the jersey on a hard surface and gently but quickly patted and lifted the roller to the residue.
The lint roller sticky papers worked like a charm for me! Very easy came off with first try!
this really works. I used this method on a nylon jacket to remove sticker residue and was very pleased.

This method did not work for me. What did work and worked easily was Disolve-it Spray! The tape residue on the fabric had gone through the washer and dryer and sat for over a year.
The cotton ball and alcohol worked for me. It was much easier than ironing with the paper towel. Just rubb it on the surface and it disappears.

Nope, didnt work! This was a long strip of tape with the size printed on it, when lifted off it left the long stripe mark.
