Getting turpentine on cloth usually doesn't STAIN the cloth, but it can fade the colors. It can also leave a smell. The smell can be removed by soaking the clothing in water and white vinegar for several hours, then run through a regular wash with 2 cups of white vinegar in the wash cycle, then add another 2 cups of white vinegar in the rinse cycle. Also, line drying outdoors helps to. So I'm not sure what you mean about a turpentine STAIN, as I've never had that happen.
I would use Lestoil.
Most likely you removed some other stain using turpentine. I met a case when an engine oil stain was removed with turpentine, but a turpentine stain remained. If you are sure that you have removed another stain and have only turpentine stain, that it is not a discoloration of the fabric due to the effects of turpentine, then treat the stain with dishwashing detergent and then wash it.
