How do you remove VapoRub from around a plastic bowl? It was used it to relieve congestion by steaming your chest?

Pour small amount of Dawn liquid directly into bowl - spread it around on all surfaces and let site for 15-30 minutes - add small amount of water and rub with a scrubber of some sort (or stiff brush). Rinse thoroughly several times and check bowl for odor and feel. You can place this bowl in the sunshine and spray water several times an hour to finish the job.
There are other products (Soft Scrub, Bar Keepers Friend, both without bleach) but you should act quickly with these and not let stand for very long.
Wash it with blue Dawn
Would blue down work in a metal pot? I dont want to take the nonstick coating off?
Goo Gone or Dawn will do the trick :)
soak overnight covered in 1/4cup vinegar to each gallon of water-then wash as usual
My husband retired from a chemical plant where this product was made. He says this bowl needs to be dedicated for this purpose only in the future or throw it away. Due to some of the ingredients in it, it should never be used for food in the future, despite how clean you think you have it.
