I applied Zep floor refinishing but now I want to remove it because the floor is very scratched and opaque. Can I remove this product and then put it back on?
Other users report that cleaning floors and re-applying Zep will take care of the opacity issue; you might try that in a small section. Also, Zep sells a polish stripper product. Finally, maybe you can ask Zep for advice specific to your situation at www.zep.com/
You can remove it, but it will take about 2 hours of physical work:
1. Apply a 50-50 mix of zep stripper and warm water, keeping surface wet.
2. When the surface softens, use a scrub sponge and elbow grease to remove it.
I'm not sure how long this has been on your floors and if you were ever satisfied with the results but I would suggest you read some comments on past postings on ThriftyFun before you begin this removal and redoing your floors.

Several people said that Home Depot helped them with this problem so maybe a trip there might be a good idea. Or maybe Lowe's or Ace Hardware.
You always have the option to contact Zep but you may want some other suggestions also.
