How do I get rid of a hot sauce stain on black pants after I washed and dried them and the stain is still there?

I just had this happen last week. The stain was still there after washing. I dropped some dishwashing liquid on the stain, rubbed it together, blotted it with a towel, then washed again. It was gone.

Too bad you dried them. You may have set the stain in. Try filling a 5-gallon pail with the hottest water from your faucet.

Then add 2 T each hydrogen peroxide and powdered dishwashing detergent. Soak overnight. Then wash as usual.

I would soak the area and use dish soap
