There is a yellow stain on my new car as a result of cleaning off a dark color small dropping.
It's not a bird dropping. The dropping was a very very tiny dot and dark in color. I suspect it's a dropping from a plant like trees or some part of a flower.
When I washed my car yesterday, after cleaning that small dot, it left behind a yellow stain like the picture.
Can anyone please help?

I use a clay bar to remove residue stains. Then wax my car after.
You can always go to your local auto store and ask for their recommendation.
thank you. I am going to try the clay bar. I hope it works - as I have a protective coating on the car now so I am surprised that it left a stain. I guess whatever it is may be very acidic.
Car detailers say that sap can get into the paint of a car if you do not have a good coat of wax on your car. It appears they use a clay bar to remove the stain and then apply a good coat of wax to the car's finish.
Car detailers can remove this for you!
Ask the dealer what they recommend since the car is new. When my last car was new
, I did some diy cleaning after getting bird poop on the roof and I made a mess of it. I used Comet and a sponge and scratched up the paint but good.
thank you very much for the kind advice. I will ask the dealer for solution.
NO way!!! The same exact thing is happening to my brand new white car. I just got it and every week I come across a new stain. It is exactly like you said. It is a dark brown dropping. It is hardened on the car usually by the time I see it. I rubbed it off the first time and thought that is why it left the stain. I tried scratching it off with my nail the next time.
Im having the same problem. I have a couple of the same type of stains on my car and Ive tried several waxes and a clay bar with no luck. Did anyone figure out how to remove them?
Hi all, same stains also happening on my new white. Did anyone managed to solve this problem? Would love to know how... Thanks!
