Here is a way to get as much peanut butter out of the jar when it is almost empty. Rather than throwing out the jar or a messy task, this way can easier. All you need is a microwave, a spoon and a container
Simply pull the silver ring around top of jar off before placing in microwave. Be sure to do so or the microwave will spark!
Depending on your microwave speed, melt for a few seconds. You can test for length of time until melted but not burned. Once melted, just pour creamy melted peanut butter into a container using a spoon. Enjoy on bread or pancakes, or store for a later use. :)

Great idea. Here in the North woods and living in the woods I use a spatula to get most of the last and then put the jar on the patio and watch the chipmunks have fun.
