Repairing Bleach Damage to Black Dress?

I seriously need help. My black dress that my aunt gave me was bleached with zonrox/clorox and she got disappointed with the result. Although it's just small stains it's very many. Do you guys have any suggestions on how to repair my dress without using any Pentel pen?

Black dye is probably the best solution and it may take more than on time to get an even color.

  • Bleach removes the color (and actually weakens the fabric) so your stains will only take one dye cover the first time but if you try it a second time it may cover them.
  • Be sure to read all instructions on any products before you purchase and make sure it is for the same material as your dress.
  • There are several types of dye so look at several before you decide.

  • If this is an expensive dress or one that has special meaning, you may wish to take it to a professional at a good dry cleaners to see if they can dye it for you.

You could try dyeing the dress, but the bleached spots will probably come out lighter. I think the sharpie is the best solution.

Here is a good step by step explanation. www.persil.com/.../how-to-remove-bleach-stains-from...

Most likely fabric dye will help in your situation.
