You will need to clean the area first and remove all the burned edges. After go to the back of the sofa or under the sofa to cut a piece of fabric. Place the fabric inside the hole and use a fabric glue to glue it in place. You may be able to find some iron on patches. I do belive they sold them before but I am not sure they still sell them now.
It will be difficult to make this spot 'disappear' but following professional instructions can make it less noticeable.
I believe it works best if you trim the burnt edges and then use fabric or fray glue to glue the edges on the under material before cutting a matching piece.

You would have to cut away any burned edges, cut a patch from an inconspicuous area, and use fabric glue to patch it.
You could find a small piece, maybe underneath the sofa to mend, with fabric glue!
