The control panel buttons on my Cookworks breadmaker do not respond anymore when pressed. How can I repair it? Can it be replaced? The machine itself worked fine.

Control panels cannot usually be repaired but your breadmaker could be different. Have you unplugged your cord from the wall socket, waited a few minutes and replugged? Sometimes this will reset the control unit.
I do not know if you are in the US or the UK but if in the UK it may prove to be less expensive to purchase a new machine.

There are several YouTube videos about this problem but with other brands but you might take a look and see if anything looks feasible to you.
Unfortunately, they don't see anything to replace the front panel on this machine. They do sell a few replacement parts but none of them would help out in this instance. I just checked the online troubleshooting guide and they don't even list this one as a problem.
This sounds like you are having an electrical problem with the machine and there is a sensor or other problem that is causing this issue. Here is the link to the troubleshooting guide and there might be some way to contact this company for online help. On this site, they do have a contact or a place to ask questions about your machine. I would try and contact them to see if they could help. www.argos-support.co.uk/
