Repairing Dogs' Stuffed Toys

I have tried nylon, polyester - all kinds of thread only to have my big chewer (Slick) demolish my stitches! I have finally found a type of thread he does not seem to be able to get through, upholstery thread! It's super extra strong and yet it's easy to handle and sew with, so far it's been two weeks and no repairs of any of kind on any of his stuffed squeaky toys!

For items that take a lot of abuse, I use dental floss.

Also, if my stockings get a run, I use a strand of my hair as thread because it matches my stockings and is readily accessible.
